  2. Library Event: Plants are Superheroes - part 3

    In early spring we will transplant the seedlings that have been growing for weeks. Reading of the book 4 S’s for Noticing Nature will spark curiosity about seasons and sunlight that we will put into action to grow our plants and find a future home for them at your site. Registration required: 1 per family. To participate in this program, you will need to pick up a kit with materials at the Northtown Library. Kits will be available for pickup March 29, 2021 - April 7, 2021.

  1. Homeschool Programs K-12 (AM)

    April 8, 2021, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM @ Wargo Nature Center

    Wargo has homeschool programs for students in K-12th grade! Each topic is created to be age appropriate and topics change each year. We pride ourselves in having staff who are experienced and well educated in the field of environmental learning. These topics may help you meet standards and fill in areas that require outdoor learning and science skills. K-5 programs will run when windchill is greater than 20 degrees F, grades 6-12 programs will run when windchill is greater than 0 degrees F. Pre-registration is required. Times may be shortened due to weather.
