2021 County Government Month

  1. Library Event: Stay at Home Storytime

    Join us virtually as we share books, songs, and rhymes at this storytime designed to promote school readiness in 2 to 5 year olds. Librarians, caregivers, and children will sing, talk, read, write and play together to build early literacy skills. Registration for the series is required. One registration per household. This program will be delivered via Zoom and a link and instructions will be sent out prior to our first session.

    Expungement is the process of going to court to ask a judge to seal a court record. People request an expungement when they have been denied a job, housing, or a professional license because of a criminal incident that shows up on a background check.

  3. 4-H Babysitter's Training

    Summer is coming up, and I bet you would like to make some extra cash by learning how to babysit your neighbors or children of family friends. Come learn from 4-H what it means to be a babysitter, how to keep yourself and the kids you supervise safe, and more! We will focus more on child development, safety, and responsibility. This will be a 5-day session with training lasting 1.5 hours each night and some light homework assigned in between.
