More… In 2017, a shuttle service will begin operating between the Fridley Northstar Commuter Rail station and large employers within one to two miles away from the station (such as Medtronic). The intent of the service is to improve access to area employers and to help mitigate traffic congestion on area roadways such as Highway 10. The service will be provided for one calendar year as a demonstration project using Federal and local funding and if successful, the service may continue beyond this period. Anoka County is leading this effort with support from the City of Fridley. In order to identify potential service routes, we are surveying employees to determine the demand for operating the shuttle between the Fridley Northstar station and Fridley businesses.
