Contract Approved for Jail Health Care

The board approved a contract with MEnD Correctional Health PLLC to provide medical services at the Anoka County Jail. The approval of this contract was in response to a number of challenges encountered by Anoka County Correctional Health, which led to cross-training and reassigning of nursing staff across facilities. Additionally, the electronic medical record is scheduled to sunset at the end of October. The challenges left Correctional Health unable to continue to provide nursing services. MEnD’s plan includes expansion of both mental and medical health services and incorporated a new electronic medical record system. For more information on this item, click HERE.
