Tuesday, December 4, 2018
Presented by Marie Lister, Teaching Specialist, Institute of Child Development, Shirley G. Moore Lab School
Executive function in early childhood predicts key developmental outcomes. Indoor and outdoor play provide a wide variety of opportunities for children to strengthen their executive function skills. We will discuss practices in the indoor and outdoor learning environments that highlight opportunities through inquiry-based learning, problem solving, adult support and reflection to build executive functioning skills.
