Reservations can be made online. To modify or cancel a reservation, please call the campground directly.

Helpful Camping Information

  • To receive a refund, cancellations must be made SEVEN FULL DAYS in advance of scheduled date of arrival. The reservation fee is non-refundable. Refunds will not be provided due to weather.
  • If a campsite is not occupied on the first night of a reservation, the reservation will be cancelled. No refund will be provided. 
  • Changes to a reservation will be assessed a $8 administrative fee. This includes modifying reservations to a different date, site, or campground
  • Long term camping is not permitted. Reservations are allowed for up to 7 consecutive nights and cannot exceed 7 reserved nights in a 30 day period.
  • Campers are required to register at the office.
  • Campsite check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 PM, Camper Cabin check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM. Camping units left after the designated check-out time will be removed/towed at the owner’s expense. Anoka County Parks assumes no responsibility for damages to units during removal.
  • A parent or guardian must accompany persons under the age of 18.
  • All vehicles are required to have an Anoka or Washington County Vehicle Permit affixed to the windshield.
  • Garbage and recyclable materials must be separated and placed in the appropriate dumpster (next to the dump station). It may not be left in the restroom, fire ring, or at the site.
  • There is a maximum of 6 people per site. Up to two tents or one tent and one wheeled camping unit per site. Tents or other camping units are not allowed on camper cabin sites.
  • There is no cooking or smoking allowed in camper cabins
  • Domestic pets are allowed but must be leashed and attended to at all times. Pets must be kept inside the camping unit during overnight hours and are not allowed at camper cabins sites. No more than 2 pets per campsite.
  • Fires are allowed in the fire pits only.
  • Firewood cannot be brought into the campground. It is available to purchase for a nominal fee at the Visitor Center and may NOT be collected from park grounds.
  • Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
  • Visitors must leave campground by 10:00 PM.
  • No parking on the grass; please use parking pad provided. 2 vehicles are allowed per site. Additional vehicles must park at the visitor center parking lot. Fireworks of any kind are not allowed within the park. Campground showers and amenities are only for use by guests with a current campsite reservation.
  • Reservation holder is responsible to ensure all occupants/guests to the site follow campground rules.
  • Off-Season camping is available at Bunker Hills campground until October 24. Water will not be available at individual campsites after October 3, however, restrooms and showers are available.
