2021 Expungement Clinic

Expungement is the process of going to court to ask a judge to seal a court record.  People request an expungement when they have been denied a job, housing, or a professional license because of a criminal incident that shows up on a background check.

Attend an informational session via Zoom to learn more about the expungement process and have general questions answered by attorneys.  You must register.

*If you do not have access to technology required to attend a Zoom session, the Anoka County Law Library will have computers reserved for viewing.*

Some individuals may also be eligible for personalized consultations follo0wing the Zoom session.  More information will be provided about personalized consultations during the presentation.  More information will be provided about how to apply for direct legal assistance during the clinic.

Court foms will be provided to all registrants, or they can be picked up at the Law Library for free.
