Recreation Equipment Rental

Wargo Nature Center has a variety of recreation equipment available for rent. 

All rentals are weather permitting and on a first come, first served basis. It is recommended to call ahead to ensure equipment is available for use. Rental equipment cannot be removed from the park it was rented.

Rental Equipment needs to be returned 1/2 hour prior to closing.
  • Canoes ($10 hour or $30 / day.)
  • Kayaks ($10 / hour for single and $15 / hour for tandem, and $35 / day for single and $40 / day for tandem.
  • Snowshoes / kicksleds ($5 for up to two hours - at site only.)
  • GPS Units ($5 for up to two hours - at site only.)
Canoe & Kayak Rental Information

  • Canoe & kayak rental is only available at Wargo Nature Center
  • Must be age 18 or older to rent equipment
  • Anyone under age 18 needs signed permission from a parent/guardian for them to be in a separate rental boat
  • Age 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult in the same boat
  • Weather conditions may not allow boats to be rented. It is recommended to call ahead to ensure availability.

Equipment rental is available at other locations within the park system.
