Write On 2017

Anoka County Library presents its 2nd short story contest for teens. Teens may submit one short story between 1000 and 2500 words in any genre, including fan fiction and verse fiction.

Stories will be judged based on the same criteria used by the Minnesota Book Awards: literary quality, originality, and audience appeal.

1st, 2nd and 3rd winners will be selected in Grades 6-8, 9-10, and 11-12. Winners will receive a gift certificate awarded at the Write On! celebration at Northtown Library, 711 County Rd. 10 NE, Blaine on Saturday, May 20th at 2:00 p.m.

Submissions open April 1st and close April 30th. Only one submission per teen. Contest open to teens residing within Anoka County.
