Group Residential Housing

Group Residential Housing (GRH) is a State-funded income-supplement for qualified participants that can help pay for housing and housing supports. GRH pays for rent, utilities, household needs and, under some circumstances, food and/or services for people who have low income, are over 18 years old and have a disability or are over 65 years old.

Before the funds may be used, the participant, the living situation, and provider must meet statutory eligibility requirements. Eligibility of a providers for GRH funding is determined by Anoka County Community Social Services and Behavioral Health. Participant eligibility is determined by Anoka County Economic Assistance and is based on income, assets and disability.
