Health and safety continue to be our priority. Due to COVID-19, all in-person 4-H/Extension programs have been cancelled through May 15. This affects the 4-H Clover Dash scheduled for Saturday, April 25.
So we are excited to announce the 4-H Clover Dash - Social Distance Edition! Keeping in mind the importance of social distancing at this time, we are transforming this fundraiser into one you can participate in while still prioritizing safety.
This Social Distance Edition of the 4-H Clover Dash will not be a timed event, but we encourage you to register and run or walk any time from April 25 - May 2 at a location of your choice. See the registration tab for details. Take a selfie and share it with us, via e-mail or social media, to promote Anoka County 4-H, healthy living, and social distancing. All registered participants will be included in a random prize drawing.
We value your support and hope you will continue to support us in this new edition of our event. As a non-profit organization, Anoka County 4-H relies heavily on the support of donors, sponsors and individual participants. Please encourage your friends and family to register for the 4-H Clover Dash - Social Distance Edition.
The 4-H Clover Dash is the largest fundraiser for Anoka County 4-H and in 2019 we raised over $19,000. Money raised supports healthy living programs, community service projects, and scholarships for youth. We anticipate this amount to be significantly lower this year due to COVID-19. A significant expense for the event is t-shirts, therefore, we will not have t-shirts for registrants this year. This ensures ALL money raised goes directly to support Anoka County 4-H youth.
Thank you for supporting Anoka County 4-H and we can’t wait to see you in person at the 2021 4-H Clover Dash where we will officially celebrate our 10th anniversary.
