Anoka County Commute Solutions is a Transportation Management Organization (TMO) that strives to reduce congestion and improve air quality by promoting transportation options.
Commute Solutions was established in 2004 and is one of four TMOs serving the Twin Cities region. The other TMOs of the Twin Cities are:
1) Commuter Services (494 Corridor)2) Move Minneapolis (downtown Minneapolis)3) Smart Trips (all of St. Paul)
Metro Transit serves as the TMO for the remaining areas in the seven-county Twin Cities metropolitan area.
Commute Solutions is funded (80%) by a federal Congestion Mitigation Air Quality (CMAQ) grant, administered by the Metropolitan Council and 20% by Anoka County.
Anoka County Commute Solutions is dedicated to achieving reductions in traffic congestion, improving mobility and air quality, and educating employers and their employees about transportation options.
