Master Recycler/Composter Class

Join fellow waste reduction and recycling enthusiasts to learn about all facets of waste management and become an advocate in your community. Learn why it is so important to recycle the correct items and properly dispose of your waste.

Master Recycler/Composters are trained by industry experts through an extensive five week course in the areas of reducing waste, recycling, composting, resource recovery and disposal. Optional field trips will tour local recycling and waste processing facilities.

The purpose of the Master Recycler/Composter program is to create a volunteer pool of knowledgeable residents in Anoka County to help the county teach others to reduce waste at home, in the community and at work.

If you are interested in becoming a Master Recycler/Composter contact Anoka County Recycling and Resource Solutions by emailing Recycling or calling 763-323-5730.

Information discussed in each class will be posted following the class on the Resources Page.
