Sheriff James Stuart Promotes and Welcomes New Staff

On January 9, 2018, Anoka County Sheriff James Stuart held a swearing in ceremony for three newly promoted staff members and swore in two new staff members for the first time.  The appointments were as follows:

From Lieutenant to Commander:  

Paul Lenzmeier was promoted from the rank of Lieutenant to Commander. Cdr. Lenzmeier’ s promotion was official as of January 6th and he has taken command of the Patrol Division.  Prior to his appointment, Cdr. Lenzmeier had served as a Lieutenant in the Patrol and Administration Divisions, a Sergeant in the Administration Division and a Deputy in the Patrol Division.  Cdr. Lenzmeier first joined the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office in 1997 as a Community Service Officer and became a Deputy Sheriff in 1998.

From Sergeant to Lieutenant:

Derek Schuldt was promoted from the rank of Sergeant to the rank of Lieutenant.  Lt. Schuldt’ s promotion was official as of January 6th. Prior to his appointment, Lt. Schuldt had served as a Sergeant in the Court Security Unit and the Patrol Division, a Deputy in the Patrol Division and with the Anoka Hennepin Drug Task Force.  Lt. Schuldt first joined the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office in 2000 as a Community Service Office and became a Deputy in 2003.

From Deputy Sheriff to Sergeant:

Derek Peters was promoted from the rank of Deputy Sheriff to the rank of Sergeant.  Sgt. Peters promotion was official as of January 6th. Prior to his appointment, Sgt. Peters had served as a Deputy in the Administration, Patrol and Court Security Unit. Sgt. Peters first joined the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office in 2006 as a Deputy Sheriff.

New Staff Sworn in:

 

Detention Deputy Bryan Graham was sworn in as a new Detention Deputy.  Detention Deputy Graham will begin his career at the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office in the Jail Division.

Detention Deputy Jonathan Evans was sworn in as a new Detention Deputy. Detention Deputy Evans will begin his career at the Anoka County Sheriff’s office in the Jail Division.
