Award-Winning Author to Appear at Anoka County Library

Club Book David Housewright  7 PM, Wednesday, October 25, Anoka County Library, Rum River

Three-time Minnesota Book Award winner David Housewright will speak at the Rum River Library, 4201 6th Ave. W., Anoka, on Wednesday, October 25 at 7:00 p.m.

Housewright is the author of the Twin Cities P.I. Rushmore “Mac” McKenzie novels. He is a former president of the Private Eye Writers of America and has won the prestigious Edgar Award from the Mystery Writers of America.

“It brings us great joy to connect authors with their audience, and we hope our patrons will take advantage of this opportunity,” said Anoka County Library Board President Daniel Greensweig.

Books will be available for sale and for the author to sign. Seating is first-come, first-served; doors will open at 6:15 p.m.  

Housewright’s visit is part of the “Club Book” series sponsored by the Metropolitan Library Service Agency and is supported with Minnesota Arts and Culture Heritage funds.
