Anoka County Library to Host Allen Eskens

Allen Eskens

The Centennial Branch Library of Anoka County Library will host author Allen Eskens Saturday, February 18, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Circle Pines City Hall, 200 Civic Heights Circle, Circle Pines.

Allen Eskens is the USA Today bestselling author of "The Life We Bury", "The Guise of Another", and "The Heavens May Fall". He is the recipient of the Barry Award, Rosebud Award, and the Silver Falchion Award and has been a finalist for the Edgar® Award, Thriller Award, Anthony Award, and the Minnesota Book Award. His debut novel, "The Life We Bury", has been published in 16 languages and is being developed for a feature film.

“We’re excited to have Mr. Eskens joining us at the Centennial Library,” said Library Board President Dan Greensweig. “The chance to hear directly from an author is one of the ways libraries bring books to life. This is also an excellent example of the value of the support we get from the Friends of the Anoka County Library.”

Allen Eskens is presented in partnership with MELSA and the Friends of Anoka County Library as part of the 2017 Winter Reads Adult Reading Program.

The program is funded by the Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
