Anoka County Library to Host Brian Freeman

Northtown Library will host author Brian Freeman on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, from 6:30 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. Northtown Library is located at 711 County Road 10 NE, Blaine.


Brian Freeman is a bestselling author of psychological thrillers, including the Jonathan Stride series set in Duluth. His novel, "Spilled Blood", won the award for Best Hardcover Novel in the Thriller Awards, and his novel,"The Burying Place", was a finalist for the same award. He is also a four-time finalist for the Minnesota Book Award.


Library Board President Dan Greensweig said, “Having a well-regarded author like Mr. Freeman appear at one of our libraries is a great opportunity for patrons to meet the people who create our favorite characters. We are especially grateful to the Friends of the Anoka County Library for helping make this possible.”


Brian Freeman is presented in partnership with MELSA and the Friends of Anoka County Library as part of the 2017 Winter Reads Adult Reading Program. 

The program is funded by the Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
