Environmental Education for Schools

We look forward to working with you to develop exciting, relevant environmental education programs for you and your students  / group. Our naturalists are highly trained and experienced in working with groups of all ages and abilities. They are dedicated to helping others learn about, experience, and enjoy our natural environment. For more information view the Curriculum Guide and Environmental Education brochure.

Wargo Nature Center also offers programs for home schooled children. Students have access to the lake, woods, marsh, and prairie ecosystems. Group size is kept small with a 10/15:1 student to naturalist ratio. If it is difficult for your class to come to the nature center, we would love to bring our programs to you (at a small additional cost). Simply phone the nature center at 651-429-8007 to coordinate a convenient location and time.

We encourage you to explore the Partnership Program in which students experience the outdoors in the fall, winter, and spring at a discounted rate.
