Anoka County utilized funds from the federal Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) to improve houses that have been foreclosed, vacant or abandoned. Bringing these housing units into compliance with health and safety requirements and addressing rehabilitation are an important part of stabilizing neighborhoods.
There are currently no NSP homes for sale through Anoka County. The final NSP home sold in June 2017. The NSP program rehabilitated 90 homes in the county, the homes were sold to moderate income families. Each home will remain affordable for a 20 year period.
